Coronavirus Update: Reopening?

We have been hopeful as our area entered Phase One of reopening that soon we could gather again for worship at our church building. Fellowship and community are so important to our faith and theology. And today the President urged churches to reopen as soon as this weekend.

We are excited about this good news and agree with the President that we “need more prayer, not less.” However, our Bishop has asked that no United Methodist Church open this month in order to properly prepare for reopening safely. We are working diligently to prepare for reopening.

We will continually monitor federal and state government recommendations as well as the guidance from our Episcopal office and let you know when we can look forward to gathering again.

We will keep you updated and communicate our plans soon. Stay safe and healthy and please continue to join us online.

In Christ,
Pastor Rick LaDue
